Peking University New Channel Chinese Learning Center
　 The Peking University International College for Chinese Language Studies is the pioneer in Chinese language teaching and research in China. In the past decades, the college has got rich experience and made great achievement in the domain. At the same time, it has been the leader in the field of business Chinese, and is engaged in researching and designing Business Chinese Test (BCT).

　With the development of Chinese economy, the contact between China and the outer world is becoming ever closer. As a bridge for communication, Chinese language is attracting much more attention. In order to meet the needs of the market, Peking University International College for Chinese Language Studies cooperated with Beijing New Channel School, which is one of the best languages training institutes, on 24th November, 2004 and founded the Peking University New Channel Chinese Learning Center. All the teachers of the Center come from Peking University. They have rich experience in teaching Chinese, and many of them are the authors of learning-Chinese books.

　We currently offer various courses for Business Chinese, General Chinese, HSK, Business Chinese Test (BCT), and preparation classes universities entrance tests. All the courses are designed and qualified by Peking University to fit students’ requests. About 500 foreign students have studied here till now. When all the required courses are completed, students can obtain a certificate of Chinese study which is endorsed by Peking University.

The Studying Environments
　　 There are big ones for 40 persons, and small ones for small groups. After class, they could use our special rooms for their self-study or cooperative learning. There are also a rest room and a buffet for their convenience.
